“PEOPLE WHO LOVE TO EAT ARE ALWAYS THE BEST PEOPLE” – JULIA CHILD”
I am a MASSIVE lover of all things food related and I have a HUGE sweet tooth. In fact, dessert is my favourite meal of the day 😉 . I love trying new things and am completely open to new experiences, so when people recommend places to eat and food to try, i’m always up for it! I’ve included some dessert spots in Sydney that I’ve really enjoyed recently.
WILD PEAR CAFE
Located in Dural, this Sydney Cafe has become overwhelmingly popular due to it’s incredible food. The desserts are incomparable and they are known for their famous Rose Water Milkshakes. It gets extremely busy on a weekend, so be prepared to wait for a table as bookings are only for groups of 5 or more. Vegetarian & GF options available!
This gorgeous vegan cafe in Enmore has some of the most incredible raw desserts going. The best part? You don’t have to feel guilty eating a huge slice of Cheesecake because it’s made from all the earths good stuff! They also serve CoCo Whip Soft Serve with pieces of their delectable desserts as toppings – a must try in the summer time.
N2 Extreme Gelato
Science B*tch! A lab inspired gelato bar where your order is made before your eyes using Liquid Nitrogen. It’s spectacular! The flavours change weekly with some popular creations making a reappearance every couple of months. There is one on King Street in Newtown and another in Chinatown, Sydney. Vegan and GF options available!
You’ve probably seen the photos of the milkshake that has everyone in Sydney in a frenzy. The famous ‘Tella Ball Shake’ from Foodcraft Espresso in Erskineville has taken Sydney by storm! It’s a creamy Nutella Milkshake (with actual chunks of Nutella) and a Nutella-filled-donut perched on top. Be sure to save room for this one – it’s delicious and deserving of it’s fame. They have other flavours including Salted Caramel, Strawberry & Vanilla.
Another great dessert spot in Sydney, Aqua S is soft serve on steroids. With salted soft serve flavours changing every week, customers can add fairy floss, popping candy, popcorn and toasted marshmallow to their dessert. Just a 2 minute walk from Town Hall Station – why not?
All this dessert talk is making me hungry! I’ll be sure to keep the food posts coming. Any fellow Sydney siders have some incredible food spots that I must try? I’ve got a list going and I’d love to add some more places 🙂
