“I LOVE PLACES THAT MAKE YOU REALISE HOW TINY YOU AND YOUR PROBLEMS ARE”
Be sure to check out this insta-famous look-out if you are already planning a road-trip to the Blue Mountains. Situated in Wentworth Falls, this is a great pit stop for those heading up the mountains!
Lincoln’s Rock is located just off The Great Western Highway, down Tableland Road (first left after the potting place with the HUGE giraffe and gorilla – you can’t miss it!). Follow Tableland Road for a couple of kilometers and take a right onto Hordern Road. Hordern Road comes to an end, and you will have to turn left down Little Switzerland Drive, arriving at the car park to Lincoln’s Rock (it’s that easy!).
It’s a great place to have a picnic for lunch and an amazing spot to watch the sunrise if you are an early riser (or sunset on your way back from your day out in the Mountains). You can climb down below the rock and check out what looks to be the remains of a little hut that may have been someone’s home many moons ago.
Here’s a few photos I took on my last visit!
